The risks related to C19 have been grossly overstated, and we have a right to refuse an unnecessary medical treatment. The vaccines have incomplete safety profiles, and anyone who claims that they are "safe and effective" is making a generalized statement on incomplete data; this is reckless and misleading. We need more time and randomized trial data to make statements like that to the general public. The vaccines currently available are "imperfect" meaning that they do not prevent transmission and infection. Wherever the virus is able to replicate, there is a potential for new strains/variants to arise, and thus can happen in the vaccinated or unvaccinated. C19 vaccines provide incomplete protection, whereas natural infection provides protection that is complete, robust, and durable. In fact, whilst antibodies wane in both groups, B cells which provide immune memory increase over time in the previously infected. So you can choose to believe what you are told, or go in search for the scientific facts on your own. Covid is a non-issue for the vast majority of people, and we cannot eliminate it, it's endemic.

Unfortunately, government will not acknowledge natural immunity because it would put a massive dent in their vaccination plan. Can you imagine stocking up on a particular product to take to market, then you tell your customers they do not need said product. And then to complicate matters said product has an expiry date. These clowns will not admit they have made a massive kok up. We have enough vaccine doses to vaccinate the very small constituent of our population that are at risk several times over. We have a gross oversupply of vaccines, so expect the coercive tactics to continue! This has nothing to do with health anymore, and I say this because government is ignoring the science and failing to acknowledge the value and utility of natural immunity. Government is targeting an impossible vaccine objective using imperfect/leaky vaccines, and they know this. Achieving "herd immunity" is simply not possible with vaccines alone. We need a hybrid immunity model that accounts for the tens of millions of South Africans that have be exposed to C19. We have sufficient herd immunity in the population as things stand (after the third wave), and there are numerous actuarial models to support this claim. Holding this country to ransom is not right.

The traffic on the website today will be insane, as everyone is going to try to do this. It's just down. An extraordinarily massive influx of traffic will do that to any website. There is only so much traffic a server can process at any given time. Had the same issue with my gym website when they opened again after Lockdown Level 4 and members countrywide rushed to the website to book their classes. Try a couple of days later when there'll be fewer people accessing the site.
