Put in the work. While working a full time job, I went back to school and then acquired an unpaid internship. I was balancing all of these at the same time. This in itself got me a job as an IT Specialist. My second interview was with the CIO and I was told they were willing to bring in someone who was green that brought a drive and passion to shift careers. While these KZbin videos are great, bet on yourself and go for it. I have been at my new job for two weeks now, and I am graduating in December with a Bachelor’s in cyber security.

Thanks for the motivating video. I spent the last 6 months earning A+, Sec+, Network+, and CySA+ along with my CCNA. This gives me some ideas to keep practicing my skills while trying to land my first IT role.

Dude you have plenty of certs to land a role. Make sure you apply those skills to a real world project. No matter how big or small. So during the interview you can explain how you used your knowledge that you learned. Anyway dude I haven’t even gotten my A+ yet. That’s what I’m working on now. Best of luck my guy

I joined the US Navy is how I got my first technical job as an Electronics Technician. Got my first IT related job when I proposed an idea to network over 100 standalone PCs.

The most unfortunate thing about today's workforce is the manager can pick a random reason to fire you if anybody on planet earth puts in an application with more experience than you after they hired you, and if you are first starting out- it seems impossible because obviously there is always somebody out there with more experience.
