Oh I am enjoying your channel so much!!! I have watched almost all in a marathon... and I just learn so much each and every time. I have learned to be resilient... to spoil myself a bit more and some tips on birds! The other day, I was watching one of your videos where you took your coffee outside in the morning. I live in the central valley of California so the last few days have been raining, but this morning the sun was glorious and it was a beautiful fresh morning. I grabbed my coffee, threw on my cozy cover-up and sat outside in the sunshine listening to the birds! It started a day where I did nothing except take a walk, but I looked great with hair done, makeup was on point and a nice outfit with jewelry to accent. Did anything change in my life? No, the only thing that changed was my perception. Thank you for the reminder to “smell the roses “!! Starting the day differently took me out of my head and into the fresh air. You and Moose are my covid blessing.. Thank you for your wonderful channel and your videos. And (by the way) your makeup looked so nice in this video! Good job! March 2020 I ended a 20 year career as a makeup artist and I appreciated your efforts to look nice and learn! Go Nanny!!

Nanny and Moose, you are awesome with your inspirational advice. My HBL ( hunk of burning love) and I are cruising into our 50th year in love here in SC on the east coast. We are in the start of our 70’s and I have been letting this crazy Covid mess with my Mojo. So that’s why I tuned in. Your pep talk was just the medicine that I needed to resume some of my new hobby of quilting. Yahoo! We are newly retired teachers as of Jan. 2020. Although we just have each other, no children, I was blessed teaching some wonderful children being a speech pathologist for 40 years in the schools. You make us look so forward to being in our 80’s like ya’ll! Take care and stay safe.

It’s serendipity that I watched this video this evening. I’ve completely lost my mojo. By virtue of dumb decisions, I’ve ended up laying here, working through pain and if I try hard enough, I will learn to walk again. I haven’t broken any bones but I’ve made some nerves very angry. And tonight I see Moose, someone who has gone through a lot worse, lived through it and went on to live his life. I’m inspired. Thank you for sharing your lives, and your strategies to rake up the mojo.

WTG, Nanny & Moose! What a great reminder of how we need to look at life and keep going on. Friday my dear husband took me to get my first COVID shot! That has been weighing on my mind. He received his, already because he is considered a first responder. When I got the shot I just said, “thank you Jesus!” My husband said amen, and aren’t you a little relieved now? Yes, I am. I miss a lot of things since last March, but like you said, a lot of things are out of our control! God bless you two young people! 💕❤️

Very timely for me. Feeling very old and tired these days. Covid deserves a lot often blame but also my dog passed away and she was my reason for getting up in the mornings. Moosey! You may not want to talk about your rehab, but it's great for us to hear how you fought back. Explaining how you overcame injuries and illnesses gives others hope that while it may be a struggle, it's worth it in the end because there IS an end to it in triumph. I think that's something that really pulls the rug out from under us. So dont be ashamed or embarrassed to explain how you came thru the bad stuff, ok? Love you guys!

I recently found you, Nanny and Moose! I was hooked from the start. It was love at first sight! I’m binge watching now so I can learn all about you and your family. Your positive attitude is contagious. My husband is 70 and I am 65. He is now watching your channel with me. He enjoyed hearing Moose talk about getting his Mojo back. He’s had some health issues the last few years and easily gets down and out. Men don’t talk about things like we gals do so please include Moose as much as you can. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I, too, have felt if others can do it so can I. The Bible tells us we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We are all truly blessed, Nanny and Moose. Stay well and keep sharing your love, laughter, hope and joy with us. God bless.

I've only been a fan for about a month. My mojo has been lost for a couple years. I keep wondering where it is? I read about self improvement, learning new ideas about improving and recharging my enthusiasm. I'm so far gone that getting out of my bed and getting dressed doesn't even appeal to me. I used to always care about how I looked, my house spotless, my six children were clean, happy and I loved that time of life. So full of excitement, fun, hugs and lots of love. My husband worked very long devoted hours at his job. There was always dinner on the table when he arrived home. I did everything that ran the home. Outside, inside, bills, kids etc. I did it all well! My husband and I have bdays coming up in Feb. I will be 67 and he will be 69. When he was almost 59, he was diagnosed with early onset Vascular dementia. He is doing well enough still to still be at home. It did throw us off for awhile. We just learned a "new normal". Never easy, just different ways of living life. Three years ago I started on IgG , self administered in home infusions. I had no immune system. So I have had to live carefully,(similar to quarantine), I miss my family terribly. I always enjoyed my kids and grandkids. I might say that my entire life was devoted to children and extended family. I had an in home daycare for teachers in my children's schools. I taught music to children and adults in church. I sang at weddings, funerals, in a few plays locally, I sang as free entertainment at social gatherings. Yes, I was busy and enjoyed every minute of it. My health began to fail. My kids and I would tease, when people would ask "What illness does your mother have?" We would answer, "She has so many things wrong. Every letter in the alphabet is represented by all her illnesses." Even though I lived such a full life I struggled with innumerable health issues through my entire life. Yet, somehow I pushed threw and my sense of humor saved me. I believe while I was standing in line to come down to earth God looked at my what my life would be like and said, "Miss you are going to need a big sense of humor to get through this life!" Then we both laughed. Wow, sorry I could write a book! I've never written to anyone in this type of situation before. Major point being , 'This ole gray mare just ain't what she used to be'! I'm so far away from my old life I can't dig my way out. I enjoy your video. Thank you for lightening my thoughts for a while .💞

"RUN IT TWICE"....I'm so grateful to find your channel. My father passed unexpectedly of covid a month ago & it felt like I had the wind knocked out of me. I couldn't get out of bed, I couldn't function. I forgot to pay bills. I came across this article that was talking about this lady who lost a close family member & she couldn't function so she went to a therapist. Her breaking point is looking at the dishes piling up in the sink & she couldn't handle it....that almost broke her b/c she became overwhelmed. The therapist gave her this advice & this is what has greatly helped me....he said next time you see those dishes I want you to put them in the dishwasher all willy nilly & DON'T RINSE THEM FIRST....& "RUN IT TWICE" & she did & it saved her.

I came from a lovely family, lots of aunts and uncles and grandparents, but I am 71, and they have all been promoted, and I so miss their wise counsel and comfortable visits. I have lots of friends, but most are younger than me. My husband and I have two grown sons living with us so we aren't alone, and our other two sons live in town. This Covid thing has been difficult, but spring is coming and we can have visits in the garden then. What I really need is exercise and good weather will help that. My mother was only 56 when she died and had a cousin die at 21 and one died of cancer at 39 - actually the 3 of them died within 3 months of each other in 1997 - so yes, let's rejoice in age and be grateful x

Nanny I am so glad I found this channel. You are an inspiration to this 76 year old. I think our backgrounds growing up are very similar with our large families and religious parents. I read a lot and this certainly passes time. At this age we are doing ok, because of being in active during our confinement, due to this pandemic, I have developed week muscles in one are and my legs. Not complaining just didn't want to end up this way. I am getting into some exercises because of watching you. So thank you and keep up the great work. God Bless.

Dear Nanny, I think central casting will hire moose! Some days are bed days some days we put on our big girl panties and get going. I certainly wish that I knew how to get rid of pain. It does a number on your body AND your mind! I was brought up that you tough through anything. And I always have. My mind keeps me going but my body pulls me down. A constant struggle. But as long as your mind is young and active I believe that is what is important. Right now I am making Valentines. I have always had hobbies and it is my belief that everyone needs one. I find the people who are having the most trouble with the pandemic do not have hobbies. They don’t know what to do with themselves. I have never been that way in my life even as a small child I was busy. I think that is what has gotten me through some very difficult situations. Blessings to you both, love, Sharon

You’re right, SHARON... keeping busy is the key...reading, crafting, sewing, painting, etc. So far as the pain goes... that’s a little harder.... exercise, or just keep moving has always helped me, but then again.. it depends on the pain...Hugd and blessings, SHARON. ❤️NANNY

There was just something so wonderfully familiar about you and your warm loving personality that really drew me in and as I watched more and more of your videos and got to know a little about you, it hit me! Dear Nanny and Moose , I watch this video several times , because I do try to keep my mojo up , but I guess like most people get down at parts of their lives , as with Moose my down times are when I start to dwell on being here on my own and worrying about my illness that will only get worse much worse , and I start to think what will I do when it comes to the time I can’t manage any more, it’s not like me to let myself get in to this state as I’m usually mostly up beat as yourself but when I struggle to do something that’s when it sets me off . So it’s at that time I turn to you on this video wash my face put some makeup on and that’s hard because of hands that have a tremor now an it’s hit and miss trying to do eyes but I do get there eventually , and as you say accept what’s happening and find something I can do and tell myself to stop feeling sorry for my self and put a smile on my face . And after listening to yourself and moose I feel great once more , and I don’t have a shot gun in the closet either 😂 but just to say I thank you for this video as it helps me every time , lots of love to you both , my mojo is back bless you 💕💕❤️ XXX Jean
