I’m going for self employment. I have a problem with my VRC not following the M28C and 38CFR. I had a meeting with the supervisor, hopefully things change. I keep a record of contact with my VRC through emails and add M28C and 38CFR references. I add the points from phone meetings into emails. That way I can always escalate to the next higher official up to congressman with evidence.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I would highly recommend to switch VRCs. I've learned over the year, that the self-employment route is great but those resources can be found elsewhere. If you don't mind me asking, what is your goal?

So I’m hearing when you apply you got to get a sign off from your provider ? I am not currently doing therapy for my mental or physical conditions. But have clear evidence of mh issues in the past with 70% PTSD. Do I have to worry about this to get approved? Do I need a doctors signature to say I can do VRE?

Good day. Question: will using VR&E take away the months I have left in post 9 11? Example : I have 9 months left on post 9-11 when i started VR&E. Will I still have those 9 months once I complete the VR&E program? TIA

As long as there aren't used while you are in VRE. Your Post 9/11 time would be used in conjunction with the additional 12 months VRE allots. Whatever isnt used at the end of the program can be transferred back to Post 9/11
