You can craft the Ares armour once you defeat the dragon, and it’s a great second place set… but damage once you upgrade each piece twice

There are three crucial Valkaryies you have to kill to get the set and one of them is the Valkaryie queen. In order to reach the Valkaryie queen, you need to kill all the Valkaryies. Sooo, yeah...

Sorry for maybe the stupid question, but tell me, why do I need the best armor in the game, when the only possible way to obtain it is to kill the hardest enemy in the game - the last valkyrie ? you don't need the armor set at all its just smth for your own enjoyment if you start another ng+ you will have this new set but again it is not smth necessary

You can start a ng+ game even in your last ng+ save file. You can replay it as much as you want

each subsequent NG+ increases the difficulty even further until +6 which is the hardest possible NG+. So yes, you can get this set in NG+1 and use it all the way to NG+7. Although admittedly it's just doing the same thing again just harder.

So you have to defeat the most difficult bosses in the game to achieve the best armor. With this armor you can defeat them more easily. That makes very much sense, yeah.... I didn't even play NG+...I got my platinum in the first run.

The best arnors are there for give me god of war +. If you're not playing on the hardest difficulty you can beat the game without any gear upgrades pretty easily

@@coencr361 well yes, but actually no. Once you beat the games' story, you can start new game+, in witch you start as if you started the game anew, but you will have all of your xp, hacksilver, weapons, armor recources ect. This is all completely optional.

Honestly it shouldn't take too long in NG+ if you have your stuff upgraded from your first play through. The valks will be hard sure, but that's really the hardest part imo. I've been playing NG+ on my first save file and I've been able to breeze through it easily. It's hard at times but rarely, but that's just normal difficulty

@@AlienVale Difficulty wasn't my issue, it's just the process of having to essentially play through the entire game twice just so you could wear this kind of armor. I personally don't like replaying games like this unless I take a huge break in between, I remember most of what happened and it's just repetitive

thats quite hard to do. it makes no sense in story context also. In the trailer it shows the blades of chaos rusted and bad looking, signifying that it was put away by kratos. Just play the game properly instead of wanting good starting gear.

Well there is this one collectible you get if you finish the game at GMGOW+. I did the whole thing for that 🙂. And zeus armour comes in handy for that

the stupid thing is that there is no actually purpose of that armor, since you achieve the last piece after beating Sigrun, which is the hardest boss/enemy in the game

all I equipped was one piece of the zeus set fully upgraded + 2 non upgraded pieces of the deadly mist set+ and i was getting one shot by valkyries in gmgow+ after switching to the zeus, but once you get used to it you shred them especially with the switch stance attacks of the blades. muspelheim becomes easy

Just finish all other Trials in the Muspelheim and then you'll get 3 keys. Use them to complete the final trial. That's all. It is easy even on the toughest difficulty
