Very helpful Austin, I wrote my "Ice Breaker" last week and I used the timeline method you recommended as an alternate. This video affirmed several elements of the process for me. 😀

Get that actor a neck brace! This was awesome Austin!! As a new member to Toastmasters, I've been through every one of those emotions you discussed. Your energy is everything. Loved the TedTalk, lmao. Keep doing what you're doing brother...I learned a lot in those 11 min.; this gave us fresh meat hope!! 🤓🥰👏

Yes I've been told this. That is the journey of learning KZbin. You get to make mistakes and have the whole world see it. But that's okay. That is how you learn :)

One of the first things i learned about toastmasters is that not only do you present speeches you also have to write them. This was off putting as i have never been good at writing with the exception of technical writing (Manuals, Instructions, etc...).

i cant hear the text because the music is to loud. Rule nr 1 with informational explainers: do not use any music at all

Great content. Please when doing videos where there is a lot of dialogue drop the music mix so that it doesn't compete with the information that is being given!!!

Mine was called " I Am Nothing". A bit of a reversal of an Icebreaker. It was motivational, it was funny- it was more than 7 minutes.
