Seriously, I ain't a funny guy and my speech structure that I've practiced so far is just awful to say the least. don'ts: * don't tell the groom that he'll be at the beck and call of his wife forever * don't tell the groom that he'll only be saying lines like "yes dear" forever * don't belittle the groom This goes for the maid of honor. Guys biggest tip is to keep it short. Even if you think you’re funny the worst case scenario is you try a joke it misses but it’s over in 2-3 minutes. BEST case scenario people are laughing and someone mentions they wish it was longer. Also don’t go after the bride

The sad thing is, this won't work for everyone. I've seen best man speeches last for 15 to 20 mins, some of them were totally hilarious but others were dragged out boredom. Hey, gents, prom is soon and I'm going through a dilemma. I'm going with a very comely woman and have pretty well everything sorted out. Having no transportation, as my parents wouldn't want to drive me, I enlisted the help of a friend with a 1963 Chevrolet Biscayne. That's transportation covered. Next, although it should be a given, I didn't know if I should pull the trigger on the corsage, and I did because that's customary. Here's my dilemma. Despite the appearances of a 1963 Chevrolet and a corsage, my mother insisted on a matching boutonniere. I'm becoming anxious now because as silly as it sounds, I'm worried that that's going one step too far and I may come off as "trying too hard" which is something that I don't wish to portray.
