I want to give God my anxiety, doubts, and guilt. I often feel guilty when I am unmotivated to read His word or to pray, but I always feel better after doing so. But I realize that this guilt and doubt is from the devil. God is the same regardless of my feelings, and so is His grace. His promises are true no matter how much anxiety I face. Even if I feel like God is far from me, and even if I feel like a horrible Christian, I can rest in the truth that I am a sinner saved by grace. Jesus died for my sins and I am eternally His. 💓

Dont depend on your feelings .... you wont always feel motivated to prag or read the word ... that doesn't matter but regardless of your feelings pray and read the word. The Lord won't look at ur feelings but rather your obedience.

One thing I wanna give God is my mind, so many times I let my mind wander off to what doesn't make sense, to what feels uncomfortable, at the moment I start feeling tense I forget all about His promises, His love, and instead give into old habits, like spending more time on my phone looking at social media, when I should be picking up my bible or listening to your guy's podcast, which has helped me tremendously and has been part of my routine everyday. It's really a battle I set against myself.

I learned about Hachiko when I was 12, and fell deeply in love in his story. Japan is my God-given passion, and four years later, my parents allowed me on a school class trip to Japan. In Shibuya, Tokyo, I hugged and kissed that Hachiko statue. I never understood why I loved Hachi's story so much, but thanks to this video, I do 💖 Hachi's the way I want to be with my God; OUR God. Again I encourage you to research and inquire about Orthodoxy, I had a similar feeling of *"want to know who Jesus is better than I have before."* I looked into Catholicism, I looked into Protestantism and all it's branches and varieties. I encourage you to look into them too they taught me a few things, some good some bad. Yet Orthodoxy has helped me grow closer in learning, knowing, and experiencing God more than before. Inquiring never hurts and the knowledge is bound to help you.

Rely on Jesus working in You, not on your own strength to overcome sin. We can’t have freedom from sin in our own efforts, but only when we ask for His help and freedom and for His strength in us. Also, don’t only focus on how bad your are, but rather on how good He is. Don’t focus on “not sinning” .focus on knowing Jesus. more and following Him daily. Reading your Bible everyday and making sure to spend time alone with God everyday will greatly help you in your walk with God. Be honest with God and call out to Him with your honest heart that you want to stop sinning but cannot on your own, talk to Him. It will take some discipline to stop, but you can’t overcome sin by discipline alone.. we don’t have enough.. but on giving it to God a relying on Him when it’s too difficult for you. And again, don’t dwell on your sin/failures but dwell on God’s goodness/the victory you have through Jesus. And if/when you do fall, know His death on the cross already payed for it and so when you repent and ask Him for forgiveness you are completely forgiven. You are no longer a slave to sin, and it can be difficult to break sins at first but know that at the end of the day Jesus already defeated sin and you are already forgiven and will be with Him in Heaven for eternity! And don’t over complicate things: Jesus loves you and sees your heart, rely on Him and He will strengthen you to overcome sin. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 9 “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” God bless you brother! Before i tried to be with God and please him,i had life in which i would seek pleasure.And now,my problem is that after i was trying to please God for about 2 weeks,i slowly but surely started to stop it because i had this need for pleasure again and i got back at playing video games,eating as much as i want and such.And now i am feeling happy but at the same time,there is some feeling of guilt in me and i would like to get back to serving God but the temptations will get back again and its difficult.But i think ill deal with them by saying Jesus words to myself, Depart from me,i never knew you. I write to him in my journal about how I do too much I feel - well how I’m confused about everything most times and remembered how we shouldn’t be over religious and that being Christian isn’t religion it’s having a relationship with our father and I remember something I read in the Bible where he sat at someone’s table to eat and they were appalled because he didn’t wash his hands like the Jewish custom said to do and he told him that’s not how they enter the kingdom of heaven or something and that connects in my memory to one time I heard someone say (i think it was you Alex) that Jesus hated religion because it changes how they see Jesus and it doesn’t show who he truly is. And I’m always trying to make sure everything I do is perfect or pleasing to him like I mean SMALL SMALL SMALL THINGS and I probably should be focusing on my character instead of those things and I told him I would try to give it to him. I really want to because it’s tiring. So that’s what I want to give to him.
