"..and return back to you." Absolutely no way. I don't tolerate that back and forth unstable pathology. If he is happy to lose you, let him lose. Do not be someone he can come back to. These types all have their well scripted monologues to manipulate you into accepting them back after passing you over for their 'space' which is a nice deceptive word for cutting you loose. Good advice on how to deal with it though but I would make it clear to him I require him to remove my number and all my personal info from his phone and not to conract me again, not in the near or distant future.

I did not reach out for Christmas but his birthday is next week. I would like to text happy birthday. He did reach out to me the day after Christmas. I am sure is wondering what is going because he did not here from me. He did not say he needed space. I asked him, if we will get back in a relationship after the 6 month space we just had. We have been dating again for 3 months. We have know each for 1 year. He said, he is not ready to be serious rn. I told him, I respect that but I have decided to pull away for my own peace of mind. Nooooo , you don’t have to say Happy Birthday to a guy who is not sure about you, just let him go for your own sanity , believe me i am also talking about my own situation here , my boyfriend wanted “ space “ to go out partying without me and i was not “ allowed “ to neither call nor talk to him for 3 !! days and believe you me, i suffered so much, i was so tempted to reach out and ask him stupid questions like why , where, what etc . and because of Tomisin I stopped myself literally from reaching out to that loser 😮😢💔🤣hard though still I agree!!💔🙊🙈🙉
