How to give your horse a summer time bath

My god, what a soup for the horse. I won't argue but just say that PERHAPS brushing FIRST gets rid of the dust and debris, then this if you want. Would you not sweep first instead of directly mopping a dirty, dusty floor?

Lynn-You should have two buckets so you can rinse the dirty rag in it before you dip it into the bucket with the fly spray,ect. The way you are using one bucket is causing the horse to be bathed with dirtier & dirtier water the longer you continue.

That is not how I bath my pony, I do a full on spray her with the hose and rub the shampoo into her body, mane a tail. All that was, was wiping the horse down with some fly spray with an over priced flannel.

It is nice that they are trying to teach but my goodness, using all those CHEMICALS on an animal or human is NEVER good. Seriously, research essential oils instead of chemicals for shine and fly repellant. This is really scary!
