How to Give Your TTS Mascot SENTIENCE

This tutorial will teach you how to make an idle animation loop for your text-to-speech mascot. This will make them look like they have a "mind of their own" and allows them to move independently from your own tracking.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! Been looking to do something like this for a while now. Would this tutorial work for TTS monster as well? Given it's a browser source and not a program Repping Neopets as well!

It should work for any program, it would just be a matter of swapping the mouth inputs for your preferred method. VTS Pog adds special inputs (VoiceVolume2 / VoiceFrequency2), which makes it more user friendly for audio setup (not my strong suit). But you can use regular VoiceVolume/VoiceFrequency with your TTS audio set as your ""microphone"". Also should mention, TTS Monster is a voicebank option IN VTS Pog! I just like the funny tiktok voice :)

It's one of the options in VTS Pog under the tiktok voices! When I designed this little guy I totally had the trickster voice in mind for him. It's so cute!

is there a way to have the mascot on the main model or is it just possible like this? Yes you can put the mascot on your main avatar but what if you would like it on your shoulder?

it would be a bit more complicated if the model is part of the main avatar. but theoretically you could set up additional parameters for the mascot movement, track that, then tell vtube studio not to track parameters for the main model in the animation, only the mascot parameters.

It's one of the tracking options you can set for a parameter in Vtube Studio- I believe it's called Mouse Position X and Mouse Position Y
