I had a piece missing in my jack kit and did not know it until I watched this vid. I searched and found the piece under the third row seat. 2001 Suburban. Now I can lower the spare in an emergency. And now I'm a subscriber.

My door to my where the lock is missing any ideas where I can get one? Just the door someone took it of it broke off or something. I had to drill out my lock because it was rusted on. So now I have a hole there lol

My Cable is stuck to lowering the. Tire

Put a ratchet strap under the tire using the frame as your hook points and then use a cut off wheel to cut the retainer off the end of the cable. Put a jack under the tire, undo the ratchet strap, then lower the tire. Then you can unbolt the junk hoist and replace it with a new one from an auto parts store.
