He’s getting VOCAL! Awwwwww! The glasses rocked! And the baby took 99% of our attention, the fall colors were awesome! 🤙👏👏👏👏 Y’all did good!

And this was all last October! He’s even cuter and more vocal now (no words yet). We have lots of camping trips planned for the summer, which means lots of videos with an ADORABLE baby boy. Oh, and some cool drone shots and maybe we’ll be funny and interesting too. ;)

At this age Lauren's immune system is still immature I would suggest keeping him away from the campfire smoke too.

We took our children to Port Crescent SP when they were about 5 and 8 years old. The lakebed (Lake Huron) gets deeper very gradually as our move away from shore, so you can walk a long way out before the water gets over your waist or up to mid-chest. On our visit, the winds were from the north and were producing waves. Great fun to walk out 100 feet or more from shore and interact with the waves. This would have been July or August. The lakes are generally very cold, but with the water being so shallow, the temperature was just fine.

Amazing! And Port Crescent was Loren’s very first camping trip! We’re planning on Harrisville and Tawas this summer for our Lake Huron camping. And then a whole lot up north near Traverse City and Charlevoix! We can’t wait for Loren to put his feet in both Great Lakes!

Love what you two are doing. Our first camping trip, in a tent, was when our daughter was 13 months and our son was about to turn 4 years old. We didn’t start RVing until they had finished their college undergraduate educations.

I loove using "doggie" pee pee pads to change baby when we're out, I always keep a few in my car

Aww what a cute baby, we camp with 3 kids ages 4, 5, 6 and its so much fun. If it was one baby I think we could have managed camping but with 3 super little kids it was so hard to just get in the car. Love this video, your kid is going to love camping! Also omg the cats are sooo cute!

Whitman and Wendell don’t really venture too close. But our new kitten, Harris, will cuddle right up!

So glad I stumbled on your channel! My husband and I live in Michigan, have a 2018 16’ Sport (kind of a blend between Caravel and Bambi), he is 6’5”, and we’re expecting in August! We registered for (and received) the Guava travel crib too. I have been pushing to sell our Airstream so we can get something larger like 25-28 feet but now I’m wondering if we can make the 16 foot work after all. Would love to see any updates on camping with a larger baby.

Amazing! We’re so glad you found us too. And maybe we’ll see you at a state park here in Michigan? We’re booked at about a dozen campgrounds for the summer! We’ll have lots of new videos coming soon and many that show what it’s like camping with an almost 1 year old in a 16’ Airstream! (Also, we used to have a longer Airstream - a 27’ Globetrotter back when we traveled full time, before the baby - but we LOVE the 16’ and plan on making it work as Loren grows up!)
