How to go from sketchbook to large picture,

I know some of you will have seen some of this video but, here is the full version. I hope you enjoy my method for coming out of a sketchbook and onto larger sheet of paper, and how to move your work around and gain new ideas.

Oh Susan, it's always wonderful to see what you've been up to. Your drawings are so exquisitely detailed, there's so much to look at and so many places for the eye to linger and explore. You know that I think your artwork is perfectly matched to a children's book. Many of them use cute, cartoony illustrations, which are fine, but you take a quick look and you've seen everything. Your drawings invite the viewer in to explore and stay a while. Thanks for sharing your sketchbook with us!

I ended up changing the heavenly gates but I have an idea from that for my next picture from that lol x

Yes I love it Jane I really do, I can pull it out into the middle of the room and walk right round it if I want, it’s great x
