It’s interesting that LA Metro uses more light rail lines than subway lines while NYC’s MTA doesn’t even have light rails but like 28 subway lines.

The LA Metro should have combined with Metrolink and Amtrak companies and increased the frequency of all lines to 2-5 minutes. They should also prepare to convert all railways into light high-speed railways, enabling people to travel from Pasadena to Long Beach in 2-3 minutes. Additionally, work should proceed simultaneously on both southern and northern stations, completing one station at a time to avoid wasting time on lengthy rail plans. The focus should be on what can be implemented immediately, such as building new stations for both southern and northern lines, and making incremental progress on all projects.
