How to go racing for less than $1000 - Enduro Racing!

I had no racing experience, and built a street legal car, into a racecar following SCDRA specs, and had a blast with it for the past two seasons. However, finances to be competitive in that class, make it difficult. This year, I’m looking into getting into local enduro series! Thanks for sharing this video, and for helping me make the right decision to move onto what seems to be a much more affordable and fun class!

Agree reminds me old school nascar where cars are bonestock. I use to do demos but didn't enjoy those really. I enjoyed building em but not driving. Wonder if enduros would be fun. I did one on dirt oval but wasn't as fun bc had shit tires and would just spin out. Thought I was going to get creamed. No cage nothing lol but out if 43 cars I finished 9th only bc my car didn't die but ya man deff has my attention

@@JACKEDRACING I was thinking about getting a V6 Camry reliable Post.to post bar like ya said. 194hp in a compact body. Couldn't you get a 4 point and hook it up to factory seat?? To save a little more money.

@@JorgeVonVogler as long as you have solid mounts for them on the frame of the car. The car that used to win at my track was a v6 Nissan. V6 acuras are fast too

Here in so-cal we have irwindale speedway(LA county) and orangeshow speedway (SB county). Irwindale runs 14 races on 11 dates. There are points given each race and a champion crowned each year. Orange show has 8 races and also has a champion each season.

Hi , I own a 2000 Merc. Sable Enduro car with a V6 DOHC engine. As you know a front wheel drive car will want to push in the turns. One way to take the pushout of the car is to set the REAR wheels out . This will mimic a Super Late model with a swing rear axle. I put the rear wheels out 1/2 inch at the front. This makes the rear of the car want to come out in the turns. This will bring the rear out just a little and help the cat through the turn taking out the push or some of it. try it it works. Ran my first enduro 8 days ago. Survived 5 out of 200 laps in an 08 fusion. Dude got spun around and I hit him full speed head on. Still recovering, think I broke a rib. Shopping for a seat and harness.

I race nothing but ford focus and have won few championships they are cheap and easy to fix. Great Enduro cars
