"You will be just fine" - NO we will not be fine. It is just to big risk to do this conversion. I have 40 minutes for the conversion on the ship, before ship will start discharge operation (unplanned service job because of FX2N failure. This conversion is automatic - many pages in the manual shows you how many issues you can find. I will not take a risk and I will replace damaged FX2N to another FX2N instead of FX3U. This proces is just overcomplicated if you have very limited time.

Writing programm to the FX3U PLC is faster than writing programm to the FX2N PLC. Transfering programm used sc-09 cable absolutely.

Hello, we have 2 HD blowing machines, the first with PLC FX3U installed, and the second with PLC FX2N installed. The second machine stopped for more than a year, as the battery ran out of charge and we deleted the program from PLC FX2N. We downloaded the program from PLC FX3U and downloaded it to PLC FX2N All commands work correctly but there is no connection Between the reading unit from the ADAM-4018 thermal sensors, a new unit has been changed, but the problem is still. Do the RS485 settings in the FX3U differ from the RS485 settings in the FX2N, or is there a problem with the card?

It could be to do with addressing. Make sure that the bus address match, as specially if you using new temperature unit.

Hi There. No, you cant test the the same way as outputs. Best way to test it is to go to batch monitor, enter x0 in the device name and take a wire with 24v applied to it and go true all the inputs one by one. Thant how i test inputs.
