Hi Karen. When you order Abekas Full-Grade tuition and books you are prompted to choose accredited or unaccredited. Here is a video that breaks it down for you in detail. I filmed it over a year ago. When you say Full-Grade tuition, do you mean their grade level kits? I don’t recall an option to choose accredited or non accredited.

If you are Parent Led you don’t have to worry about it. Abeka only offers it to students that use there video option for all subjects. 😉 If you are interested in knowing more about it, you can always check out the video I linked my other comment. I explain it all there.

Question! On the progress report, below the part where you write your address, it says “Check if the above is a change for [] shipping [] mailing [] billing [] phone” What does that mean? 😭

I use the 10 point scale. But, I don’t think one is better than the other. ☺️

I’m trying to remember off hand. My daughters in 4th grade now. Try checking on the progress report. Next to Fun with friends, it should show the page (s) she’s required to read. There shouldn’t be another book. I hope this makes since,

Hi Luz, in you video manual or Lesson Plan book, it should explain how to do the averaging for each subject. In my video manual, Bible is on page T13. Arithmetic T15 Reading T17 Language T18 Writing T19 Spelling T22 History T23 Science T25 I hope this helps. 😉

Hi Queen. I think I understand. You will want to grade the tests and quizzes that are listed on the progress report. And then you will mail in the listed tests and the progress report. 😉

The only thing you didn’t mention was that for accredited on the back of the phonics tests, you must subtract the number wrong on the oral portion of the test and unlike math, it is included in the actual test. There is not a separate grade like math. Perhaps update that, it wouldn’t matter if people don’t want to do that for unaccredited, but it must be done for accredited.

Of we are unaccredited, do we need to send back any grades? Also what if we’d like an official report card, do you think Abeka will give us one?

No you wouldn’t need to send in any grades to Abeka. You will want to check your states requirements though. You can find them at HSLDA.com When it comes to report cards, you would be the one responsible for creating them. Abeka only does that for Accredited (academy.)
