Thanks for the tutorial. You can also apply the gradient map to a duplicate of your grayscale layer that's set to 'color' mode, above your original painting. That way you don't have to worry about your values and can change the gradient's intensity as well. You're Czech, right? - the "ch" sound doesn't exist in English ;)

Yeah that's kinda true but not really, if you're using color blending mode you have to pay attention to the values under it for example if you take red colour in the gradient map and map it to the value that is too high (too bright), you'll end up with pink-ish instead, because red is considered dark colour. So I'm not sure what is easier if being careful in gradient values or in painting values. But that's just a matter of preference I suppose. ;) And yes I'm Czech and yes it's kinda obvious , though I'm trying to get rid of my accent :D
