How to grease the hubs on your boat trailer

Grease the hubs on your boat trailer every 6 months to a year depending on use. If you use your boat trailer multiple times a week then grease the hubs every 6 months, if you sporadically use your boat throughout the year then grease the hubs annually. This video shows step by step on how to make sure the hubs are lubricated. Get a grease gun and trailer grease which you can buy at Ace Hardware, West Marine or Home Depot. Remove the rubber cap on the hub and attach the tip of the grease gun to the fitting inside the hub. This is a small nodule that comes out of the hub, it is located on the inside top right part of the hub. some what correct but ALWAYS clean the zerk of old grease first. you don't want that stuff on your bearings and if i seen water coming out with the grease you must remove the bearings and check for corrosion and repack them.
