How to grease trailer wheel bearings

Manufacture says not to jack trailer on axel. Should always jack using the frame. You can bgend the axel if you continue jacking the trailer using the axel.

I have been jacking on axles like this for years with no damage. The floor jack I use has a large rubber pad to distribute the weight. Also think of it like this. The trailers weight rests on the skinny leaf spring in the same location. I really only lift the axle about an inch. The axle takes more damage when it hits a large pot hole.

@@GReviewz All I'm saying, I go by what the manufacture says. All say not to jack up trailer on axels.

@ we’re do you normally Jack from? On the frame?

@@GReviewz On thre frame directly below where the L frame, under the up right part of frame. I use a 4 ton bottle jack and use 2 X 6 PT wood planks for height.
