Worth mentioning that they grow counter clockwise for you since you live in Brazil in the southern hemisphere. For most of us hop growers in the northern hemisphere, our hops always grow clockwise.

Hi, thanks for the tips on the video! I would like to ask, if the hop already reached the maximum height that my structure supports, but it keeps growing, should I cut the apical bud to stop vertical growing?

Hi, great video. How many months the hops are producing cones? I want to plant it in my apartament. Do you sell them here in Brazil? Thanks a lot
@hopsworld82013 жыл бұрын

Thanks for the video, this is brilliant! Which led lights are you using?
@maxraffaele3003 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot ! Our older lights are Viparspectra 600-900. But now we use mostly Mars 600-900 and 1 quantum board 2000 .

@@maxraffaele300 Thanks for the answer.. And how much do you harvest? Would you say that a 300W light would be enough for only 1 or 2 plants?

On a first year plant, do we train all the shoots or just one to go up the cage?
@hopsworld82012 жыл бұрын
Train them all first year !

You wrapped hop counterclockwise...thought you previously said the hops get trained clockwise?
@hopsworld8201 Жыл бұрын
On each individual string they grow clockwise.. you can train them any way you like around the mini trellis .

Do hops have to grow straight up or can in create an arch to the top of an existing structure
@maxraffaele3002 жыл бұрын
They can definitely grow over an arch . You may have to train them every few days once they get beyond about 45 degrees.
