DrHans Brewery It looks like you are training the bull shoots, which have a wide internodal spacing. Those should be pruned and the next, greener shoots trained.

I have Sorachi Ace, Glacier, and Southern Cross. Two of each. I was very late in pruning and training this year(2nd year) so they are a little behind but growing fast from all the rain.

Ive designed a new trellis this year for my hops. I can tie all the binds on the ground, but the trellis reaches 15 feet. I havent posted the video yet, but I will soon. I like what you've done using the tree to get the height. Cheers!

It looks like your balcony is now a tree house. Wow that's really staggering how tall those hop plants can grow.

What is your temperature and humidity like during the next 2-3 months? It looks like some tough digging for your other plants - might be easier to put some raised planting boxes in for those.

You'll never now with Swedish summer's can be anything. Yes I have some raised beds aswell. Just the hops going into the ground and some strawberries. Cheers!

DrHans, it might be easier for your "non-Hops" plantings to be in planter boxes (raised) - it looks like digging is difficult in your soil. Best of luck with your hops - may I ask what temperature and humidity is like typically for your hops varieties you planted at this time of year?
