Hey everyone, in this video I talk about how to care for a Monstera in water that originated as a cutting and not a soil grown plant. I will do a seperate video where I will demonstrate how to move a Monstera from soil to water. Here are some general care tips for Monstera plants: 1. Light: Provide bright, indirect sunlight for optimal growth. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. 2. Watering: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly, but ensure the excess water drains away to prevent root rot. 3. Humidity: Monstera plants thrive in humid environments. Consider misting the leaves regularly or using a humidity tray to maintain moisture levels. 4. Temperature: Keep Monstera plants in a warm environment with temperatures between 65-85°F (18-29°C). Avoid exposing them to cold drafts. 5. Soil: Use well-draining potting soil with added perlite or orchid bark to promote good drainage. 6. Fertilization: Feed your Monstera plant with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). 7. Pruning: Trim yellow or brown leaves as needed to promote new growth and maintain the plant's appearance. Prune leggy stems to encourage bushier growth. 8. Support: Provide a moss pole or trellis for climbing varieties like Monstera deliciosa to support their growth and prevent them from becoming unruly. 9. Repotting: Repot your Monstera plant every 1-2 years or when it outgrows its current container. Choose a slightly larger pot with fresh potting mix. 10. Pest Control: Keep an eye out for common pests like spider mites and mealybugs. If detected, treat the infestation promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil. By following these care tips, you can help your Monstera plant thrive and grow into a lush, vibrant specimen in your home.

Lovely video! I have some Monstera cuttings in a glass jar as well and it just keeps growing! I've had them there for about 3 years? I'll keep an eye for the video on potting this 😊
