Amazing video, I am in Liverpool so it's great to watch other people growing orchids in the UK because care tips are very similar, I only have 1 brassia but the flowers are so beautiful I should definitely buy some more. Do you have any Tolumnias it would be great to see a video on them and also masdevallia. I always look forward to your videos each week keep up the amazing work Orchids are becoming so under rated and forgotten by most of the houseplant world so thank you for showing people how amazing they actually are. 🌿🌿🌸

Brassias are great orchids, and I think our home environment is great for them. I do have some videos about Tolumnias but not about Masdevallia. I need to acquire some more Masdevallias to check how well I can grow them. Do you have a favourite one?

That is a beautiful orchid! What kind of fertilizer do you use and how often are you using it? Do you find it needs less watering during the winter? Thank you!!

Amazing! That's the information before I buy a Brassia. You found a subscriber. You cover a lot of information about the care for a specific -"genus"?

Hello, I was curious how long your blooms generally last. I purchased two Brassia orchids that were in bud. I checked them regularly for water, but the blooms only lasted about a week on each one. What I read online said they should have lasted several weeks, so I'm not sure what went wrong.
@oneorchidaday Жыл бұрын
They last for around 1 month. Since they came in bud, the orchid probably got stressed in the process of being dispatched or being in a supermarket/ flower shop and also they are adapting to your home environment. Stress makes the flowers fade earlier than they would. I hope it helps :)

@@oneorchidaday thank you! Maybe some orchids are more prone to this happening as I have had others shipped in bud that did just fine.
