This is a year late but in fermenting some of my pods I put them in the sun while in doors at 70F and they started to germinate and sprout.. The sun might have brought them up to 75-80F so probably around there would be a good start.

I have tried Many times to plant cacao seeds both with and without the White pulp. But they always end up rotting, even if the seeds looks great when pulling the out of the pod. What do I do wrong?

Was it hot ? They dont like direct sunlight, 25-30 celcius is ideal. And look for GOOD seed.
