Cauliflower or cauliflower is a plant that belongs to the botrytis group of the Brassica oleracea type (Brassicaceae tribe).
Cabbage flowers are shaped similar to broccoli. The difference is, flower cabbage has flower heads that are many and densely arranged. Only the "head" of cauliflower is commonly eaten (in English literature it is called white curd). At the base of the head there are thick green leaves and tightly arranged.
