Echinocactus grusonii is a species of the genus Echinocactus of the family Cactaceae. In the natural habitat is found in some areas of Mexico.
This cactus has a globular stalk, which at the mature age becomes barrel-shaped and grows to a fairly solid size - about 1 meter in width and height.
Most often echinocactus is propagated by seeds that have very high germination capacity. Sow them by following the instructions on the package. But you can get a new copy in a vegetative way, if the parent plant gives a sprout, which is quite rare.
