Thanks for your video. I'm new to this and have them in a cut up plastic water bottle with top wrapped in plastic wrap ..the seeds are about on week 2 of germination and looks to be doing well. Didn't know how much they would grow and used the entire pack (big mistake), these little things are a lot. Waiting patiently for a second set of leaves to appear so i can repot. Started Jan 12.

You can use the bottle but cut almost all the way around but leave a bit attached so you can use it like a lid to make a little green house

Great video Nancy 👍. This is a crazy question…. If Foxgloves are biennial and don’t bloom until the second year does that mean they will not bloom the third year and will in the fourth year? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Or should I plant some one year and the next year so I always have blooms? 😂😂 there is probably a real simple answer😂 It also looks like you have them in a part shade location as I see Hosta nearby… correct? Hi Brenda, unfortunately foxgloves die after they bloom so you count on them reseeding or just sprinkle new seeds in the ground every fall if you like. Yes foxglove can grow in part shade or sun

Hello I garden in zone 8B Flint, Texas, I planted my foxglove seeds they are about 3 inches tall now and doing great in their own pots, but am not sure when to plant them outdoors on the ground, they are perennials, the temperatures at nights are around 40's now can you give me any advice on it , thank you kindly.

I am not sure about your zone but you always have to look at your first frost. It is recommended, if you plant in the fall, it has to be at least 6 weeks before the first frost so the plant has time to grow roots. I hope that helps.

They are poisonous be so careful with the dog watching!!

Dogs, wildlife don't bother to eat them...they know instinctively. Puppies may try them as they chew on everything. I have two dogs and a cat they never go near them.
