Foxgloves are very popular late spring/early summer plants due to their versatility and vertical beauty. They are natural woodland plants, happy in dappled shade and fertile well drained soil. At home in a variety of different garden styles, from cottage gardens to contemporary gardens, foxgloves are often the plant of choice in many planting schemes.

I share your love of Foxgloves. I've had them pop up in all different places where they've self seeded and I couldn't have placed them better myself. Last year I bought a plant from a local garden centre and it's called a Chinese Foxglove. That's very nice too. Hope you're both okay after your ordeal at the weekend. Once sown, where do you keep the seed trays until they are ready for potting on?

@janettidswell2092 We keep ours on the shelves of the mini greenhouse which is uncovered. They don't need any special treatment after sowing, just leave them somewhere a little sheltered.
