Absolutely agree with you. The climate is essential. I live in Northern Italy. In winter there is an average of 95% humidity in the air and in summer it is very humid and hot. It's quite a challenge to get them to survive outdoor in these environmental conditions. But even this winter I haven't lost a single one! Yeahhh!! 🍾😂

Yep I agree I'm located near an ocean, in an area that never gets about 75 degrees fahrenheit. It would be much different for me if it wasn't so cloudy wet and cold all the time.

Hardy succulents do acclimate to your climate. I live in Northern Canada so it's cooler and dry all year round. I move my succulents from outdoors to indoors as the temperature drops and tend to water more often to avoid crispy burnt leaves. The key growing conditions to me are bright light, loose soil and air flow.
