I’ve been making art for a few years now. One thing I learned from doing events or markets etc, is art can be very difficult to sell. It has nothing to do with your art and skills. I’ve learned to accept that. I may sell several pieces at a time, or maybe just one. It has to appeal to the people, and now and then, someone falls in love with a particular piece of art. I wish you all the best for the future 🫶.

Thanks for the encouragement! As a mostly beginning artist, I’m working on daily time and resilience. I REALLY appreciate you saying art requires us to feel, to recognize the feelings and use them as inspiration and to use our art to work through them. I didnt understand this until recently. 🧡

Absolute gold! Resilience and time I'm finding the hardest lessons of all. I'm pretty good at ignoring the housework and garden though 😂 Investing in yourself and taking courses makes the world of difference too 😊 Taking StArts has opened my mind to finding my own path. I feel I have the knowledge on how to do that part, I just need the continued time and resilience to make it work, and working on my skills of course 😊

HaHaHa……..That was hilarious that the first priority set aside was doing the housework.There’s a woman after my own heart. My feelings exactly. You are right, there needs to be a time allotment and a commitment. Art is a process. Thank you for your encouragement, just when I needed it. Self doubt is always there when you don’t always follow the rules in the doing of it.
