STARTING SEEDS IN STONE WOOL

Starting seeds in stone wool can be incredibly easy and involve very little effort
The most important factors for success are having the proper amount of light, airflow, heat, and humidity.
There are many different techniques for starting seeds in stone wool.
the methods I describe have repeatedly worked for me for my hobby hydroponic
and commercial hydroponic systems
Algae growth is usually not an issue
Algae growing on the surface of seedlings is often a sign of overwatering,
but it TRANSPLANTING THE SEEDLINGS
usually is not an issue that will significantly affect plant growth
Transplanting the seedlings
I’m using expanded Clay Pebbles growing media
expanded clay pellets are pH neutral, inert, and one of the most popular substrates for hydroponic.
Mixing the nutrient solution
Fill the box with water
Don’t fill it completely, leave room for air
Add fertilizer (A & B) in small increments and Stir
Check the EC/ Parts per million (ppm) until the target reached PPM 2500-2900
Add pH down or pH up to adjust the pH (target range 5.5-6.5)
No pumps, no complex irrigation systems, just plants sitting in water
Most of the early hydroponic research focused on static water systems like the Kratky method
Plants grown in hydroponic systems can grow faster and yield more.
hydroponic produce is often cleaner than produce grown with traditional methods.

I have start hydroponic last month. Im stuck from the first step. It seems my seedlings only grows long. And leaves are slow to grow. It is something to do with the nutrients? Or sunlight? Hope i can gt answer. Thanks.
