I have purchased numerous boxes in the last 3 years with no problems. The packing is fantastic. The plants are always healthy and nice size.

I have another question? I need your help in determining where to plant my lizzys on my new land. As you probably know this area often experiences summer heat over triple digits. My other cut flowers handled the heat fairly well last year with irrigation. But I didn’t attempt lisianthus last year. I do have a shaded area that is on my flood plane. Or if I choose a sunny location then I thought I could give them a low tunnel with a shade cloth.

Shade cloth is a great idea while they are establishing! You will want a sunny location as LIsianthus are native to the hot Plains states and love warmth after they get their cool establishment period. ~Felicia

Hi! I am happy to find your channel. This is my first year of flower farming. I bought land near my hometown of Blossom, northeast Texas and I’ve placed several orders from you! (I spent sometime last year growing cut flowers in my back yard. But I’m eager to learn from you! Which hardiness growing zone do you live in now?

I will never grow Lisianthus by seeds, it was the worst especially dealing with fungus gnats. I definitely plan on buying plugs.

Will Terra Cotta be available for spring 2024 plug delivery?
@farmerbaileyplugs Жыл бұрын
We expect to have it for the October 2 restock of spring shipped items, yes.

@@farmerbaileyplugs Ty! Sign me up! How soon will it be listed on your website? I would love to have 50 strip options of multiple varieties for my smaller rural market. I'd do fewer of each variety, but more varieties to give my florists more options. 🙂

Is there anyway a hobby gardener can order plugs?
@farmerbaileyplugs Жыл бұрын
Hi Melissa! Everyone is welcome to order from us, but our minimums may be too much for the home gardener. Some folks split an order with their local garden club or nursery. Thanks for checking us out. ~felicia

starting them from seed isnt hard its getting them to do things after that i just got my first bud to open on my lizzies that i started on december 1st of last year and have had in the ground since april

They certainly take their time. Lisis are slow growing, 25 weeks to bloom from sowing is not uncommon. ~Felicia
