I could live off of this plant it's so delicious. We are from Pakistan and my mom doesn't have much access to methi here in the United states, but thanks to you I will be growing her some this season. Thank you so much I'm literally so excited!

Jag...You must have new equipment! These camera shots are amazing! I love that I can see all the details of how this plant grows. It increases my confidence in gardening. I know more clearly what to expect. If you ever develop your own seed packets for all of us to buy, one of those photos on the back of the packet would be ideal! Thank you for all your hard work!

Kind of off topic, the water you drain off the seeds is great for hair growth. I put it in a spray bottle & use it a few days a week. Store it in the fridge.

In Palestine and the Middle East we use dried fenugreek seeds to make a hot drink like tea, or use them to flavor some baked treats. so fragrant and tasty! But how do you get seeds from these plants?
@terryroy94885 жыл бұрын
You let the flowers go to seed instead of cutting the plant at flowering time to use fresh. Wait for the plants to start to die back and the seed pods to turn brown and dry, then harvest the seeds.

Your video was very informative. I need help. The methi I grow (whether in soil or in cocopeat hydroponically) just grows upto a finger long and then falls/droops to the soil and gets dry. Me being an Indian, I expect it to grow as big as cilantro that you get in the stores but it never happens. Is it because of heat ? I live in Orlando, Florida where the heat goes to 90 F ). But the plant is outdoor and yet kept in a place where it just gets sun upto noon time, after that it is shady. Do I need to bring it indoor with under 78 F as the highest due to Ac running? Pls reply. Thank you.

Very useful video, thank you. When I tried to grow methi a few weeks ago, the seeds sprouted just fine in just a few days. But over a week, all the leaves disappeared, while the stems remained intact. My suspicion is rabbits or squirrels. Could it be aphids? Please let me know what you think happened. Thank you
