How to grow Mango from Mango Fruit for beginners

The tree is known as a tropical plant, it grows in eastern India and the lower reaches of Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam. It is a fruit tree that grows all year round.

come one...do not be a fool...don't u have a clue in how plants, seeds, trees grow?????? In regards of sprouting mango from seed...find a ripe mango, one that has not been irradiated (customs), eat the mango, wash the pit, open the pit from one side with care of not going too deep on the pit...open the pit and u will see the seed, take the seed out and place it in well drain soil with some sand, cover with plastic, keep the soil moist but not soggy and in no time u will see it sprouting...Mango do not do well in cold areas.... good luck

Well, to answer the person's question, it takes anywhere from three to ten years to start seeing fruit from a mango tree, but without the male/female combo, it will take closer to the ten years if planting from a seed.😊👍🏽

If this was anywhere remotely replicable with consistency ...you would see that mangoes from seed kinda have that growth moment where it almost shows you the cotyledons (like your bean sprout experiments at school)...then you would see how the roots try to really dig down. You really dont need all the special soil sauce they say here because if an over-ripe mango was to fall down from a tree and let to seed...it already have all it needs from it's flesh rotting into the soil to make sure it has the best chance to germinate and actually be nourished at it's infancy...just need the luck of watering and enough sunlight. All these so called "amazing" steps are but fluff. Maybe the only thing these special prep steps do for real is cut down on the decomposer action which probably is not a very glam thing to wait arounds on and see (:D).

Most seeds require something special for germination. What you're seeing here with the planting of the entire mango stem side down is the cloning of the tree that that piece of fruit grew from. Growth buds like where a stem connects to a fruit, or a brand-new branch on a tree that still has the nub where it meets the tree can be encouraged to grow roots, unlike an older tougher part of the plant. That great growth, with the nub still there, is designed to grow. The growth nub at the very tip of the fruit is what's growing the roots and the tree, not the seed inside the fruit. The fruit is just there as fertilizer. Onions are actually very good when you want to root a new plant. While not a rooting hormone like you could buy at the store, they are hugely rich in vitamins and minerals providing rich fertilizer for tender new growth, and (most importantly for this use) they are an antimicrobial. So they keep bacteria from rotting what you are trying to get to grow. They are commonly used along with cinnamon and aloe to greatly increase the success rate of rooting cuttings and trimmings.

Well, from seed to fruit it take quite long months to produce instead stem propagation is far better compared to this. Anyhow it's 99% of nature's work to complete cent percent with man's job. Great job! Keep fooling!

Too slow with unnecessary things. This video can be reduced to 2 minutes time. Why to waste one whole mango when you can grow it by its pit/seed? In the second method, a black mango having severe fulgal disease has been used and the whole pit is not burried in soil, it will not sprout. The useful details like, temperature, spil type, watering fertilizer, etc have not been given.

Yep, everything here is wasteful. Pick a more ripe fruit, eat the fruit. Carefully take the seed out of it's shell and plant it. It'll start it's shoots in about 2 weeks. Just keep it indoors as I found out the hard way that insects love eating it's young leaves. Most of them will die that way.

Para tener un arbolito se necesita una semilla y esa semilla se siembra y a los anos da un fruto...Muchas semillas dan arboles que no son iguales a la fruta que se comio o de la que tomo las semillas. Busque gente reputable para que aprenda como la naturaleza funciona...no caiga en la trampa y se muestre como un tonto por creerles.
