I planted around 6 money plant branches in water but after some days 3 of them died by rottening of roots and now I am left with only 3 of them out of which none have grown any root( it's been 16 days since I placed it in water)

Water grown pothos are delicate due to the fungus growth in water. That happens when we don't change water often. It needs fresh water every 2 days. I hope it helps. ❤️

If you let the pothos grow on its own from balcony pot , it will clmb into the wall and flow down or move up, while placing it's airial roots stuck into cement of the wall. If that success , the next few leaves shall grow larger as it draws food from the wall and also from the pot soil ... For getting very big leaves mose stick alternative is this. But u have to daily water the pot with a couple of hours direct sun light .

Don't add any fertilizer if it is growing in water. You can only replace it with fresh water every week.

Roots grow within a week. It may take upto a month for a single leaf node to throw a few leaves. According to me, soil is best to get a beautiful, bushier looking pothos.😊

I had a doubt - I am also growing a money plant in water for almost a month now and I have seen a small hairy surface on all roots, but it doesn't seem to affect the root growth as the roots are still growing bigger.
