I recommend transferring it to a bigger pot as the plant size reflects the size of the pot. I also personally use worm castings for my plants and it helps with growth a lot.

@rdot9805 жыл бұрын
For seeds and seedlings, they don't need to be watered daily. I've seen several people say you want the soil to dry a little and water them from the bottom (sit them in a tray of water and let it soak up through the holes in the bottom of the pot/cup).
@johnschunk974 жыл бұрын
Why not skip 3" pot and go directly to 9"?
@LearnHow24 жыл бұрын
Hi John. You can go straight to 9" pots. I grow several plants and have to move them in and out of the greenhouse in the early stages until the weather has warmed up. It is a lot easier for me to move 3" pots than 9" pots.

Just start the seed in the large pot, transplanting causes stress...
@Neo-ko4om6 жыл бұрын
Growing in a smaller pot is best for plenty of reasons. The main ones being smaller pots retain moisture better then larger pots and starting smaller then transplanting helps build a solid root structure. The stress caused by transplanting can be avoided with peat pots. (Even so stress isn't a huge deal at this stage) Just transfer the pot to a bigger grow space and the roots will grow through the peat pot with no problems.
