What is your nutrient recipe? I just started following you, so you may have already answered this. 😊😊

You are soo right about cutting off blooms i also read that cutting off blooms too early stunts their growth i also read that when corm digging you should never remove all the corms because that supposedly takes energy away from the alocasia that it needs to continue to grow. It makes sense to me because at one point i was cutting all the blooms as soon as they came out and i would remove all the corms when repotting and doing both definitly stunted their growth it took forever for them to bounce back and the blooms dont stop coming just because they were removed too soon, i guess they need to bloom flowers and use their corms to continue to grow as they do in their natural environment, i love corm digging soo much

I love clear self-watering pots. Started using physant20 to stop the algae and it works wonders. Couple of drops per pot is enough and won’t harm the plant

I don't flush PON due to the fertilizer. After fertilizer is gone, then I wash it to sterilize it. PON is so good since it lasts a long time and you can reuse it.

What brand or ramen noodles comes in such a nice container with lid. That size clear container I have been looking for. Lol

Do you use all the products from BugHut in your "nutrient rich cocktail" or one specific product? Thanks and love your videos :) Pon is wonderful for plants and for me as I tend to go to a warmer climate in the winter. It makes it much easier for my husband to take care of all my plant babies.

Do you notice a decline in you alocasia when you go from soil to pon, I want to know if that's just mine, and where do you get those pots

I'm thinking of using a mix of pumice (rinsed) with fluval stratum to grow my alocasia in a self watering pot. Would this be ok?
@iamclaudiaq6 ай бұрын
I think that would be fine for rooting but I worry about fluval stratum long term since it breaks down pretty quickly in comparison to other amendments
@mavisb61986 ай бұрын
@@iamclaudiaq Should be ok as I use more pumice than fluval
