This was super informative and clear! I know you seed good quality seeds are important... but have you ever used seeds from calabaza fruit from the market? Do you have a recommended place for purchasing potassium nitrate?

Try the most popular online stores in your country, VC. It varies from every country. You may find those seeds or similar, and sometimes potassium nitrate can be sold in grams, pounds or kilograms. Farmers get them from nearby agricultural stores. Many commercial vegetables in the market are F1. Once you get the seeds of some vegetable fruits, they are not F1 anymore, but you can try the open pollinated vegetable seeds anyway. Hope this helps! Happy gardening or farming.

@@vc6103 Love to hear it from happy gardeners. It only takes some weeks or few to get fruits. Different exact dates depending on plant care, seed varieties and so many other factors. Do proper hand pollination once flowers bloom. Hand pollination is very important for squash or kalabasa. Water and feed them right :-) Happy gardening VC!
