I successfully propagated a rubber plant from the leaf ONLY. I had it in water for about 6 months before transferring it to soil. Then It appeared to grow its own stem from the roots and out came a new leaf! Total 9-10 months! I was shocked because everyone online said it’s impossible!

I'm trying. I started from a leaf only, December 2023. It's in soil now with plenty of roots, but no stem yet. Your post gives me hope 😁

From what Ive gathered, rooting the leaf is possible. Water or dirt but, a plant wont grow from it.?

Leaf with some stem attached to will grow into a tree. No stem, no tree.

Yes, it will just root, but once you put them on soil, it'll just decay/rot. It will not grow any stem/branches. We'll just create a LEAF WITH ROOTS that cannot be a plant. 😢 I tried that method multiple times each time I trim my Rubber trees, i keep the leaves and put them on water (like what's on the video), again ~ yes, it did grow roots (surprisingly long and in just a matter of 3 weeks without any rooting hormone in a glass of water), but thats it.😅

Maine bhi aapke method k according lagaya. Mere wale me leaves yellow hokr root rot ki problems aa gai. 😞😞

It only gets roots no shoot at all I have full 8inch pot filled with its root only now I have cutted the leaf from top just to take a change if it get any shoot let's see

@x.pq.x9444 Without a node, with some stem attached to a leaf will grow to a tree. Without any stem, roots will grow without a stem, no trunk, no branch.
