Growing succulents in a small greenhouse is a fantastic way to cultivate these hardy and visually appealing plants while maintaining control over their environment. Succulents thrive in bright light, so position the greenhouse where it can receive plenty of sunlight. Ensure good ventilation to prevent humidity build-up, which can lead to rot. Use well-draining soil, such as a mix specifically designed for cacti and succulents, and avoid overwatering-water only when the soil is completely dry. When potting on small succulents, gently remove them from their current container, taking care not to damage the delicate roots. Place the plant in a slightly larger pot, filling in around the roots with fresh soil without packing it too tightly. Avoid watering for a few days after potting to let any root damage heal and reduce the risk of rot. A small greenhouse not only protects succulents from extreme weather but also creates an ideal microclimate for their growth.
