People, all he is doing is seed germination. Any seed can be germinated. I am germinating me seeds now for spring. It doesn't matter what type corn it is. Once you germinate your seed, then you plant it out. Of course it will not grow in the container. These videos are not hard to understand, some are just basics knowledge. Happy growing people from an horticulturalist.

Corn needs to be directly sown. It dosent do well transplanting. The roots dont like to be disturbed. So good luck with that

Field corn is actually completely edible and soft when picked in the milk stage just like sweet corn. It's just not as sweet as a supper sweet hybrid or stay in that stage as long.

People say corn doesnt like to be transplanted....sprinkle mycrorizae on the root ball, plant it shallow in DRY soil, dont water like you normaly would, they need to acclimate first. Oh kelp would be fine too btw

Not sweet corn, not enough space to grow in the container, and even if you try to transplant it they would likely die because corn doesn't like having the roots disturbed and you'll have the roots all tangled in such a small space.

Yes, seed will germinate at different rates, like the old saying go. Only the strongest survive. Soon seeds are duds when planting them. I sow several seeds in containers, some grow and don't.
