AS ALWAYS VERY AUTHENTIC, USEFUL AND THE BEST GUIDING INFORMATIVE PRESENTATION ON GROWING WATER LILIES. 👏🙏👏💐🌹💐👌👌👌👌👌👍👍 My queries : I am maintaing a kitchen garden in my small backyard. Hitherto, the plants could get about 5-6 hours of sunlight especially in summers. In winters about 4 hours due to the Sun excurting more towards the South. But very unfortunately, a newly constructed multistorey apartment on a plot lying vacant since many years has curtailed the sunlight, now available only for half an hour in the morning. Recently I bought 3 water lilies and have temporarily placed 2 with an already potted water lily and another one separately in a sweet box, again on temporary basis due to shortage of time. All are alive with very small leaves. Now I will definitely pot them as per your able guidance but will I get blooms in summers due to lack of sunlight ? Please guide and oblige.

Sorry for the late reply and thank you so much for your words, really appreciated! Again, sorry to hear about the issue. Same problem in my balcony, specially in Winter. Get Sunlight for less hours and growing plants becomes difficult. Honestly saying, 1/2 an hour would be very low and there is a less chance :-( You can still keep them growing and hope they grow well n bloom. Alternatively, you can also try growing plants that bloom well in shade. No, I have moved them after somedays. Added the fist just to see smile on my daughter's face. Temp was high and that's why gave them to one of my friend who has an aquarium. Anyway, now Lily is also not there...they are in dormancy time.

I added them just because of my daughter's enjoyment....After somedays, gifted the Fishes to one of my friend who has aquariums (I don't have). Without using fish - we need to grow other small aquatic plants so that sunlight doesn't enter inside the pot (such as Duckweed, Watermoss etc. If you Google as "small aquatic plants for lotus pond", you would see many more) The Algae grows when the sunlight enters inside the pot. Sir , please help me I planted many semi light locer plants like croton areca dumbcane and more .more then 12. But all died and 1-2 plants are growing not well very bad dull leafes , I tried many type of soil mix .

Adding fish in such a small container, that too on the terrace, will boil them alive. Pls don't do that.

No worries..I kept the pot in shade after adding the fish. Finally I shifted the fishes to other place (gave it as a gift to the same friend as I don't have aquarium) I didn't add all these things in video as it would be unnecessary long. I still have one packet of fish food withe me. Thank you for reminding, I would give it to my friend.
