ah yes, the calves of arms and the most underrated one
@madden77322 жыл бұрын
Except that forearms do grow a little bit faster than calves. Seriously, just do One Arm Dead Hangs and you'll see in 1 or 2 weeks your forearms actually growing (not that much since you're just starting, but you will see guaranteed gains)
@bryanenty83852 жыл бұрын
I wanna get bigger forearms bc it’s gonna help with my grip strength for deadlifts. I get grip training from doing farmers walk and by using a lot of free weights but I feel like I should do more
@thomascordes27992 жыл бұрын
@@madden7732 plus i feel like most lifting excercises involve forearm usage so if you’ve been lifting for a while they’ll grow naturally
@madden77322 жыл бұрын
@@thomascordes2799 imo thats up to you and your objectives, but I think it's far better to work them properly with isolated exercises, to maximize hypertrophy (if thats your goal) and even much better grip strenght.
@thomascordes27992 жыл бұрын
@@madden7732 i was adding onto your point not going against what you were saying, i was just pointing out that if you compared calve growth vs forearm growth over time forearms will grow more, obviously targeting any body part specifically is going to yield higher results

you don't need a full day just do it along with your arms, if you don't do arm day then work it along with your pulling muscles like back or biceps
@WahyuSaputra-jm5bb7 ай бұрын
@@hiezenberg Yes, at least the foreams will work harder and grow during compound training by doing weighted pull ups, weighted partials pull ups for arm wrestling and weighted Chin ups. That includes arms day.For my back, I usually do barbell rows and weighted pull ups for flexor & brachioradialis foreams.

NICE I do all these variations. I have hexagon dumbbells so I'll grip them on the ends like plate pinches. instead of a barbell role I do it with a dumbbell, I'll put small shop rags around the dumbbells to make the grip thicker and do isometric reverse curls and I'll also use water bottles and squeeze them as hard as I can.
