You seem like a cruel man to feed the deformed ones to the flowerhorn you dont have the rigth to takes owns life even thougth they are only goldfish they still have life mr dexter.How would you feel if someone feeds you to the lion and be discarded like trash?
@Mandiness6 жыл бұрын
SARAH Chua culling deformed fish is actually a standard thing to do when breeding. In nature, the ones with deformities would probably be eaten alive anyway. That’s kind of how animals find their food in the wild. I think it would be equally cruel to let fish grow and suffer with those deformities when there is no real way to fix them. Either way they will die young, but at lest feeding them to another fish helps sustain the other fish.
@green39756 жыл бұрын
Why would we feed Dexter to lions if he’s not deformed, he’s perfect. maybe we should feed you to lions for your deformed cognitive reasoning skills.
@mdmenchua6 жыл бұрын
Mandiness entertainmemt i have a goldfish with a deformity she lives with me for four years what are you talking about? So your saying they dont live long?or maybe your just ignorant
@Mandiness6 жыл бұрын
SARAH Chua MOST goldfish with deformities don’t live that long. There are exceptions, and you’re very lucky to have one. I have a seven year old goldfish with KHV and I take special care to make sure nothing exasperates the virus. I have another goldfish that is missing a pectoral fin. She swims just as well, if not better than my fish with all their fins. Do you breed for profit by any chance? When running a business you may not necessarily have enough space to accommodate all culls. Something has to be done with those culls. Unfortunately most options tear at the heart strings. Space available in breeding tanks/ponds for profit are prioritized for fish that are healthy enough to be resold. It’s sad but not everyone who buys a fish wants to rescue one with a deformity. My initial comment was not intended to offend you, so much as to give a different perspective on things. I’m not entirely sure how that would come across as “ignorant” to you. It’s good to expand the mind and see different perspectives to gain a better understanding as to why certain things happen the way they do.

Hi Dexter really need your advice here. I commented on your tubifex food videos..now I have experimented several times but still cant get it right...last time i asked about why there's no substrate and you replied that you are using their food as substrate and its more efficient. I tried to feed them with soaked fish pellets, but what I have been able to do with this method is just to sustain their lives for several weeks but not producing more. I think the failure was because of lack of substrate because tubifex cultured in mud is much easier. Please reply me Dexter about how to make the food as substrate. I really need to make this work to start my fish breeding project. Thanks 😊
