As I look at the degree which God forgives us and lets us return to him millions of times with how we're called to love like Jesus....how and when we draw the line in our human relationships without compromising healthy boundaries or loving like Jesus? I love your heart in asking this question because , it shows you want to really understand. I didn’t understand the concept of being broken before either but it is not a type of humiliation of someone breaking you to prove you are inadequate but more like God giving Adam and Eve clothing in Genesis 3:21. Without confession of our reality in saying I sinned and I am naked, we won’t repent. We cover our failures with insecurities that give the illusion that we can live without God, like the fig leaves Adam and Eve grabbed and sewed to cover their nakedness . This can present as pride, rebellion, addiction, things that make us feel worthy or important in our own eyes. We are important because God loves us and sent his precious son to die for our sins. No one took Jesus life, but he laid it down. Jesus didn’t count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself by taking the form of a servant Philippians 2:6 I think brokenness comes from our sins, but when we cover our sins outside of God we build a false identity, we develop a heart of stone and only God can give us a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26-27 Jesus is the way, the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through Jesus…so when you realize you are in need of Jesus you recognize you are broken. God allows us to break through our bravado and see our brokenness.

I don't care who you are, but you do not get the right to kick a Bible in front of an entire church and have other people laugh at it. No wonder people are actually converting to other religions. Because of the disrespect to Christianity, this is really shameful that you kicked the word of God in front of an entire congregation. This is so not acceptable. I was really planning to come to this church. But I will never step foot in there. How can you kick the word of God in front of everyone? How can you disrespect God's word?
