I got pretty good at this playing Splitsie's Scrapyard scenario. The main thing is to remove the computers. Just use a basic grinder, and remember, if you tap left click too quickly, you will activate continuous grinding and ruin the whole thing. Your method here is way too complicated, and doesn't necessarily apply to other batteries. Basic grinder+patience=success. Is it the most time-efficient method? Maybe, maybe not, but it's the method you are least likely to screw up when any battery is placed before you. Edit: The other huge problem with your method is it probably changes with the grind speed of the world settings, meaning it probably won't work on servers that deviate from the default 2x grind speed.

The trick I do is use the basic grinder and grind to where if you grind it one more time it will grind to 79 cells, so I think it would be at 14 computers. Then one tap with the elite welder, then grind down till no computers. But it works only with the Elite welder, I have not tried other levels of grinders and not thought of the percentage method.

@@PandemicPlayground Oh no I don't grind it till I lose the one cell, just before at 14 computers, then one shot it with the welder and then grind till no computers. Is this because of the update from Keen, it seems to be like this just a few months ago. I don't seem to waste that one cell anymore.

BTW，you can't do this trick in servers，no matter how you carefully do this method，it will always short 1-2 power cell.I think is becouse of the data exchange to servers🤔

If the construction comps were above the power cells it would leave room to grind/weld. Why is grind/weld the hacking method anyway and not some other tool? Bad design on their part.

Like add mini hacking games per specific item, or a basic hacking controller will do.
