Great video but next time round your edges in order to keep film from peeling.

Also def recommend shrinking the film before cleaning inside. You want the least amount of time between cleaning and application of film.

Nice video man, I tint professionally aswell really good work your doing, just a tip when at the bottom folding the edges in the bottom, try putting both left and right edges in and then the middle will go in it self , you may find it easier ! I got a couple tricks from this video aswell , it’s a learning craft!

Awesome video. Since I love car audio and love installing car audio. Figured I might as well learn to tint. Im bought a kit from Advance Auto today, figured probably not the best to start with, but its a start as my first vehicle will be an 1982 Chevrolet S-10 single cab. Wish me luck.

Why do we not do the preliminary cleaning first? man can't you just soak that whole window and vinegar for a while and wipe it clean? that way you don't have to f*** with it after you cut your tint.....
@BPoweredLove4 жыл бұрын
I watched a few window tint tutorials and they never clean the inside glass until after they've cut the tint piece. I never understand why this is. I would clean inside and out before cutting tint.
@mymindtattedalready92574 жыл бұрын
If you clean too early dust could get in during the minutes you cut the tint. It’s best to install as fast as possible after cleaning

Excellent video - I followed your steps an tinted the side windows on my Ford Crown Vic they came out great but took much longer than your video. The large curved rear window is a nightmare because the film won’t shrink to fit. Is there a quality film that a DIYer can buy with good to excellent heat shrinking capabilitiy?
@jeffreyg57183 жыл бұрын
Did you ever find a film for that rear window?

@@jeffreyg5718 44Tools.com sold me a roll of Avery Dennison NR Pro Window Film that worked great. I enjoy tint darker than MA laws allow so I have to remove it every year to pass inspection. With this I do not mind spending $200 for a roll of tint that will last me 8 years.
