Here at Sun Distributing, we believe that the supplier of the window film should know every aspect of the business. It makes it hard when a tinter or tint shop needs support but their supplier does not know the business from one end to the other. I started as a tinter helper in 1989 and worked my way up to the point of distribution. Along the way I have put together a successful retail tint shop and know every hurdle that a tinter and/or shop owner could face. I believe that there is an extreme value to having a company with our experience in the industry having your back.

There are many helpful apps and tools available, but most software out there are not designed to tackle the specific workflow and challenges that present themselves to tinters. Matt, stupid question, is that lime green blade the same as I get over at Harbor Freight? I only ask because that’s the only place I see them and grab’em when I can because all my other local stores carry the standard hunting orange. Also, is that the stock blade in it if it is? Thnx!

Do you have a video showing how to do the little corner window by the mirror? I thought it may be included in this video, but it wasn't. I also have a Blazer that I would like to tint to match factory rear, but can't figure out how I would cut those windows since they are larger on the outside than the inside. Thanks

Love the technique. As intimidating as it is to enter the world of the unknown(f**king up your car), the best way to learn about the materials is to buy some cheap tint, then experiment on a window at home. The worst thing that could happen, you get a bunch of dust/water bubbles and kinks. Then your next assignment is to learn how to mitigate, before and after the installation. By the time you've done 2 or 3 windows, you might try a friend's car, before doing your own. (with the nano charcoal AI technology) I just found a supply of tint that's being liquidated by a local automotive store. 20"x20' ft rolls, $8 bucks a box. If I don't like the look on my home, I'll just pull them off. No sweat.
